Enormous portions, clean inside, decent service! Every meal comes with a side salad. The peanut dressing is good but otherwise it’s just lettuce. The chicken pad Thai was enormous… but lacked flavor. I asked for chile oil and that helped. I’d go back to try the chicken and broccoli. Very affordable.

This is a GEM of a place. The waitress is great and so kind. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The meat is very tender and a lot of it in the dish. The sauces are excellent. Our only regret is that we don’t live anywhere near here! We had the dinner portion of Combo fried rice and Chicken, peppers and onions. We will come back before leaving town!

We LOVE this place! Anytime we are through Lamar, we have to eat here! It is the best American Chinese around for a good while. The lomein took the cake today. A wonderful chewy noodle with a nice savory flavor and a finish of black pepper. You will be hard pressed to find better.

I love Happy Garden! It's the best place in town for Chinese food. Eric is my favorite server in Lamar. He so sweet and my kids think he's the greatest. Too many dishes to name that are wonderful! Try everything!!

I am going to start right off with, they have the best Chicken Lo-Mein I have ever had anywhere, the chicken melts in your mouth, I wish we had a place in eastern Idaho that had it like theirs, it is amazing!

I was unsure of this establishment just by looking at the outside. It's a converted fast food restaurant. Different story once inside! Very friendly, prompt service. Clean restaurant with clean bathrooms. I ate here for lunch while on a road trip. I was in and out quickly, feeling satisfied and rested. They even put my water in a cup for the road. The Kung Pao chicken was delicious! Fresh veggies with delicious sauce. It was prepared perfectly. The whole meal came out to $8.50 including the tax. You MUST stop and try!
